T.04.01

Every SERVICE JOURNEY should be referenced either by a GROUP OF SERVICEs or by a SERVICE JOURNEY INTERCHANGE or by an INTERCHANGE RULE.

Notes

In a typical timetable. most of the SERVICE JOURNEYs are the main content of the timetable. For presentation these will typically be grouped by direction using a GROUP OF SERVICEs i.e. into (a) Outbound and (b) Inbound journeys. . They may be further subgrouped by DAY TYPE. e.g. 'Outbound journey's Monday to Friday ' 'Outbound journeys Saturday and Sunday' etc. For such journeys a full calling pattern (i.e. SERVICE PATTERN or CALLs) and set of times will be given. Other journeys may be declared in order to reference them in a SERVICE JOURNEY INTERCHANGE . Such journeys may not be described in full.
